Private journeys · Kosovo · Albania · North Macedonia

A living place of hospitality, culture and discovery.

The meaning of ODA VIVA

ODA VIVA takes its name from the oda—the traditional room where guests were welcomed, stories were shared and culture was passed from one generation to another. VIVA brings that spirit into motion: alive, evolving and open to the world. Through private journeys, food, history, nature and personal encounters, ODA VIVA invites guests to experience the living character of Kosovo, Albania and North Macedonia.

The Meeting Diamond

The pattern has heritage; the ODA VIVA symbol has a new story.

The ODA VIVA emblem begins with the geometry of handwoven textiles—objects traditionally created for the home and the rooms in which guests were received. Two woven forms approach one another, representing host and guest. Between them, an open space appears: the oda. The opening below becomes a path, carrying the experience forward. Rooted in regional craftsmanship but drawn for today, the emblem represents hospitality, exchange and the connections we take with us.

People before places

Some stories can only be understood across a table.

We introduce guests to women who transformed loss after the war into a cooking association, livelihoods and a new sense of community. You can listen to their stories, taste what they make and support their work by bringing a little of it home.

This is the kind of encounter we look for: personal, respectful and rooted in the reality of the country—not staged for visitors.

Come curious. Leave connected.
